This album was created to pay tribute to one of our biggest influences in music and in life, Neil Young. The project started as a hazy idea to cover the album at a live show. After recruiting Rob Butkowski on pedal steel guitar, we knew we'd be in business. The first show took place in an empty restaurant on Halloween night on Cookman Avenue. Luckily a local photographer from a local periodical was there to cover it. Word spread and a second performance was in high demand. At a packed lounge on the boardwalk of Asbury Park. We do not intend to perform this album in its entirety again.
As favor to all of those who attended our Harvest tribute shows and also to those who unfortunately could not attend, this CD was recorded for you.
Within 2 sessions on a beautiful weekend in Loch Arbour, Nj, C.M Smith, Kyle Waugh, Manny Castanon, Connor Effenberger, Robert Butkowski, Dan Effenberger and Emma Tringali began their journey into the mind of a legend. Bring this with you wherever you decide to go or not go.
